Hjh Suri Hanim is a member of Chartered Institute of Islamic Finance Professionals (CIIF). She has Master in Islamic Financial Practice (MIFP) – International Centre for Education in Islamic Finance (INCEIF), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She obtained her BA (Hons) in Accounting in University of Portsmouth, Portsmouth, United Kingdom.
She was directly responsible for Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ (M) Berhad awards in Islamic finance including Best Islamic Bank In Japan 2015, presented by Islamic Finance News (IFN) and Cross Border Deal of The Year (2014) for ICD, a member of IDB, Best Japanese Bank Offering Islamic Banking Products (2013) and Wakalah Deal of the Year 2013 for PT Astra Sedaya Finance, USD50M Islamic Finance Facility.
She was formally the Chief Executive Officer/Executive Director Association of Islamic and Financial Institutions Malaysia.
Hisham Abdul Rahim has over 21 years' experience in Islamic Wealth Management, Investment, Banking, Auditing and Accountancy experience.
Hisham was a Director with CIMB-Principal Islamic Asset Management where he won an Australian Dollar Money Market Mandate worth about RM200mm and launch a Global Sukuk Fund with Assets under Management (AUM) of RM165mm. Prior to this, Hisham was the Executive Director of BNP Paribas Investment Partners Najmah Malaysia and built the entity from ground zero to AUM of USD875mm. Hisham was a fund manager and managed USD2B and RM4Bn of foreign and Local Fixed Income respectively for Petronas. Hisham also build the Unit Trust business for Al Rajhi Malaysia from ground zero.
A qualified Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountant England and Wales (ICAEW), Hisham read Economics at the London School of Economics. Hisham is a member of the Chartered Professional in Islamic Finance (CPIF) by Chartered Institute of Islamic Finance Professionals.
Sembiyev Nurlan has MBA from Imperial College of London and has held various senior management posts since 1996.
In these roles, Sembiyev Nurlan brought about significant changes including establishment and implementation of Islamic principles within Kazakhstan's financial sector, established the country's first syariah compliant leasing company supervised, an international multilateral organization's activities in Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Kazakhstan, led a company to an industry's leading position within a few years, developed a financial institution's strategic direction and drove significant sales in various companies varied in industries.
Among Sembiyev Nurlan work experience include Raiffeisen Lesing Kazakhstan, international multilateral organization's regional office in Almaty, and he is in one of the biggest Ijara company in the Commonwealth of Independent States.
